Bernt Wahl

Bernt is Factle's CEO and corporate evangelist. His duties include steering the Factle ship in the right direction as well as casting the vision of the future in geo-spatial technology. Prior to starting Factle Maps, Bernt was a consultant to Homegain.com where he led many successful projects that helped HomeGain become the second largest real estate portal with 4.5 million unique monthly visitors. He currently teaches entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley and has taught over 1,000 engineering students how to develop new product ideas. Bernt's background also includes starting companies Dynamic Software and Dynamic Interactive, holding the postion of CCO at YellowGiant, and teaching as a Fulbright Fellow in Malaysia .

Hartie Chang
Product / Operations Manager | Business Development
Hartie is responsible for the neighborhood data and other products of Factle Map, from production to quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Prior start-up experience includes working at Homegain.com of Classified Ventures, where he helped build the first ever US nationwide neighborhood boundary database. Hartie has also worked at the up-and-coming apartment listings website, MyNewPlace, where he worked on marketing strategies for customer acquisition. Hartie holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and just returned from a year of intensive Mandarin-Chinese language study at National ChiaoTung University in Taiwan. Hartie's interests include the support of social good, cheering for his Bay Area sports teams such as the Warriors, Giants, A's, and 49ers, and learning about China and it's rich heritage.
